Hello

I’m a health strategist, speaker and writer for people and organisations who want to make wellbeing simpler and more effective.

With almost two decades of experience spanning NHS medicine, nutrition, writing, innovation and digital health, I help to cut through the noise, focus on what matters for lasting health, and support meaningful habit change - without pressure, perfectionism or any hint of overwhelm.

I passionately share my expertise in a variety of ways; independent strategy consulting, speaking events, retreats and my weekly (ish) newsletter, A Little Simpler (hosted through Substack).

Throughout all of my work, I try to help people and organisations start making healthy simpler again - because modern life is complicated enough.

So whether you're looking for strategic clarity, a thought-provoking keynote, or practical, seasonal inspiration to help you take care of what really matters when it comes to everyday wellbeing, you're in the right place.

Welcome!

How can I help you?

  • Simple Health

I teach a new kind of wellbeing approach. One specifically created for busy people who are tired of all the confusion, contradiction and perfectionism. An approach that cuts through the noise, focuses on what actually matters (according to the science), and then helps you actually do it. Afterall, knowledge is far less important than action when it comes to improving our wellbeing.

Based on almost two decades of practical, medical, nutritional and behavioural insights, my signature approach - Simple Health: How to live well in an imperfect world - offers a set of simple frameworks and practical tools that make healthy living doable, even when life isn’t making it easy.

I share this work throughout all of my teaching, speaking, writing (check out my new book idea here).

If you’re new here, the best place to start is with my weekly (ish) newsletter - A Little Simpler. It’s hosted through Substack.

I believe in health honesty

What it takes to be healthy may be simple, but it is not always easy.

We’re all limited for time, money, energy, headspace. The world is an increasingly overwhelming place. No wonder, then, that so many of us are feeling overwhelmed, confused and frankly fed-up with the merry-go-round of conflicting health information, marketing and noise.

Instead, what if we could cut through the complication and make it simpler again? Our bodies still need the basics: decent food, enough rest and sleep, regular movement, social connection, purpose, sunlight, water, affordable access to safe medical care….however loud the bio-hackers and marketers shout about ‘needing’ a million more (expensive) products on top of this.

But what if these basics, done consistently, were enough? What if they could even work better?

What if we could learn how to clear the barriers and blockers getting in the way of our health, so that simplicity could also become easier? To become doable everyday, despite the busyness of modern life?
